Toria and the "J.J. Band"

Toria and the "J.J. Band"

This is Jay McNaughton and Jim Bernard - my band buddies, jamming at our house in February 2011.
They are unofficially known as the "J.J. Band"

Jay (left) is a friend of the family - He owns his own contracting business and has worked on numerous construction and maintenance projects on our house. Jim (right) is his buddy who has played guitar with him for many years.

I started playing flute with Jay and Jim's band several years ago, about once every other month. We do casual gigs at parties, restaurants, bars, etc.

I have three very rough video recordings of me playing flute with the band! Maybe one day, we'll get a decent recording done. However, we just do this for fun!

1. This first recording was taken at Jay's son's high school graduation party, last August 2010, at Jay's home.

2. This second recording was also taken at the same party - August 2010 - This one has Sophie dancing to the music, in the foreground, in her swim suit!

3. This third recording was taken during a "jam" session in our living room, at our house in Riverside, in September 2010. This is a typical example of the casual evenings we have about once every other month, with friends and neighbors, wine and pizza.

My Mum and Dad were visiting us at this time (from England). And my Mum is even featured in this video! At the very end, after the song is over, she tells the story of when she met the Beatles back in 1969! (She's the one sitting on the floor - blond-gray hair and glasses).

I am on the right, playing the flute - my daughter Sophie walks up to me right at the very end - just before it gets cut off!
