What a fun, fantasy-filled day we had yesterday, at the Britsol Renaissance Fair in Wisconsin (just north of the Illinois / Wisconsin border). I've been wanting to go to the Renaissance Fair for years, being a big fan of that era myself. We finally decided the kids were old enough to appreciate it this year.
Everything was beautifully presented, the actors were excellent, the costumes and scenery were terrific, and the weather could not have been more perfect for it... Brilliant sunshine but not too hot - about 76F with a cool breeze...
Nice, authentic-looking Olde-English / Tudor style buildings... This was walking up to the entrance, from the parking lot...
Streams of people pouring in - The beautiful weather did bring out the crowds, and there was a lot of waiting in lines, especially for food and drink... But it was still well worth it.
