Girl in a Blue Dress, by Gaynor Arnold
By Toria Burrell, 11/7/10
A fascinating insight into the life of Charles Dickens, from the point of view of his wife. Beautifully written.
Every bit as good as a Philippa Gregory novel. I do enjoy historical novels, especially when given from the view point of the "ordinary" women of the day, whose lives were not considered worthy of a mention in the traditional history books.
